In Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Bill Preston and Ted Logan are still pursuing their dream of making Wyld Stallyns the greatest band in history. In the year 2691, the peaceful future is threatened by the evil dictator De Nomolos, who sends two evil robot duplicates of Bill and Ted back in time to kill the real pair and alter history. The robot doubles arrive in San Dimas, murder Bill and Ted, and take their places, fooling their families and friends. Bill and Ted are sent on a surreal quest through Heaven and Hell to defeat Death, reclaim their lives, and save the universe.
