In the 1996 classic Happy Gilmore, Adam Sandler portrayed Happy, a golfer who entered the Pro Golf Tour for the prize money. Before Happy could enter the tour, he needed training from former golfer Chubbs Peterson. Chubbs took Happy to a mini golf course to practice. Happy tried, and missed two times at getting a golf ball in a mechanical clown's mouth. On his third try, Happy got the golf's ball in, but the clown spit it out.
